Fire Training

Valley Fire Departments offer Incident Command System (ICS) classes periodically. Also, classes are offered at Adams State College.

Volunteer Connections of the San Luis Valley, (719) 589-5688, also host ICS classes.

The Colorado Wildfire Academy offers classes each winter at Northeaster Jr. College in Sterling and each June at various places in Colorado. There are requirements and nomination forms for each class.
