Colorado State Forest Service - Fort Morgan District

Fort Morgan District: Serving Adams, Kit Carson, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Yuma Counties

The Fort Morgan District of the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) is one of 17 districts located throughout Colorado. We are a division of Colorado State University, with our headquarters located on the Foothills Campus in Fort Collins.

The Fort Morgan District emphasizes agroforestry and community forestry. This office currently staffed by one full-time forester.

Our mission is to provide for the stewardship of forest resources and to reduce related risks to life, property and the environment for the benefit of present and future generations.
