Colorado State Forest Service - Grand Junction District


The Grand Junction District of the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) is one of 17 districts located throughout Colorado. We are a division of Colorado State University, with our headquarters located on the Foothills Campus in Fort Collins. Our district office is located in downtown Grand Junction, on the fourth floor of the State Services Building (at 222 South 6th Street). The Grand Junction District Office is currently staffed by three full-time foresters and a part-time administrative assistant. Our mission is to provide for the stewardship of forest resources and to reduce related risks to life, property and the environment for the benefit of present and future generations.
