San Miguel River Basin

The San Miguel River Basin is bounded by Dallas Divide and the Uncompahgre Plateau to the east; the San Juan Mountains to the east and south; and the confluence of the San Miguel and the Dolores Rivers to the north. The basin includes portions of San Miguel County and western Montrose County. Communities include Telluride, Mountain Village, Ophir, Sawpit, Placerville, Norwood, Naturita, and Nucla.
