Uncompahgre River Basin

The Uncompahgre River Basin is bounded by the Uncompahgre Plateau and Dallas Divide to the west; the San Juan Mountains to the south; Cimarron Ridge, Cerro Summit to the east; and the confluence of the Uncompahgre and Gunnison Rivers to the north. The basin includes Ouray County, eastern Montrose County, and a small portion of Delta County. Communities include Ouray, Ridgway, Log Hill Mesa, Colona, Montrose, Olathe, and Delta.
