Upper Dolores River Basin

The Upper Dolores River Basin includes portions of Montezuma, Dolores, San Miguel, and Montrose counties. Communities include Dolores, Rico, Slick Rock, Bedrock, and Paradox. Although Montrose District works directly with the Paradox, Big Gypsum, and Disappointment Valley areas, a significant portion of the basin area is also covered by foresters from the Durango District.
