The Colorado State Forest Service is a part of the Colorado State University System. Here on the Salida District we fill a variety of technical roles for private landowners and communities in both forest and urban settings, coordinate our efforts with natural resource agencies, and help manage forested sections of state land. Our desire is to help people be good stewards of the land they live on.
