Colorado Bark Beetle Mitigation Fund

Beetle kill in a Colorado forest

You Can Help — Donate Now!

Our forests are experiencing the largest outbreak of mountain pine beetle in recorded history. More than 1.5 million acres of lodgepole pine forests have been impacted to date.

Colorado’s vision for the future is to help our forests develop greater resilience to insect and disease epidemics. Your voluntary donation to the Colorado Bark Beetle Mitigation Fund will help shape the next forest and nurture the natural environment that we all depend on and enjoy.

Your donations will be used to remove dead and dying beetle-infested trees on lands owned and managed by the State of Colorado.
