Boulder District
Community Forestry
Our Community Forestry Program provides technical assistance to Colorado communities. Assistance ranges from helping to organize local tree boards to conducting tree inventories, insect and disease assessments, and preparing community forestry management plans.
CSFS, together with the Colorado Tree Coalition, provides tree-planting grants to communities as well. Some of the key components of our Community Forestry Program include:
- Technical assistance/Tree planting grants
- Arbor Day celebrations
- Tree City USA designations
- Dutch Elm Disease monitoring and control
For further information on these programs, please contact our office at (303) 823-5774, refer to either The National Tree Trust or the Colorado Tree Coalition, or visit the CSFS Urban & Community Forestry webpage.
