About the Nursery

The CSFS Nursery produces 2 million seedling trees each year, most of these are grown outdoors in fields like any farm crop. These fields, totaling approximately 80 acres, are located on the west side of Fort Collins and produce more than 50 species of native and non-native plants. Windbreaks separate each field, thus putting to use a great conservation effort promoted through our Seedling Tree Planting Program.
