Woodland Park District

Proudly Serving El Paso, Park and Teller Counties

The Woodland Park District of the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) is one of 16 districts and three field offices located throughout Colorado. We are a service and outreach agency of the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University (CSU). The CSFS headquarters is located on the CSU Foothills Campus in Fort Collins.

Our mission is to achieve stewardship of Colorado's diverse forest environments for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Woodland Park District provides forestry assistance to private landowners, counties and municipalities. We serve the residents of El Paso and Teller counties and Park County west and south of Kenosha Pass.

Our programs include insect and disease diagnosis, defensible space, seedling trees, forest stewardship and landowner assistance, community forestry, conservation education, wildfire mitigation and school trust land forest management.

The Woodland Park District Office is currently staffed by five full-time foresters and an administrative assistant.
