| Show Me Notes | A mandatory tour of the sale area is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Attendance by a representative of each prospective bidder is required to submit a bid. No alternate times will be offered. Please RSVP to the Contract Administrator by Tuesday, July 14, 2026, by 4:00 PM. Meeting Location: Meet at the intersection of Forest Service Road 257 (Cottonwood Lakes Road) and the designated sale access route. There is a Google maps link to the meeting location in the attached bid package. GPS Coordinates: 39°05'15.8"N 107°55'52.7"W Decimal Degrees: 39.087722, -107.931306 Important Navigation Note: Cell service and map applications may direct users to incorrect or impassable routes in this area. Participants are encouraged to review directions in advance and compare both the written directions and GPS coordinates before travel. The meeting point is located on Forest Road 257 approximately 2.4 miles west of Forest Road 121. Driving Directions: From Interstate 70 in Mesa County: 1. Take Exit 49 for Colorado Highway 65 and travel east approximately 10.2 miles. 2. Turn left onto Colorado Highway 330 and continue approximately 11.4 miles. 3. Turn right onto 58 ½ Road and continue approximately 407 feet. 4. Continue on 58 ½ Road/S Co Road 58 ½ for approximately 1.9 miles. 5. Turn left onto KE Road and continue approximately 0.5 miles. 6. KE Road turns right and becomes 59 Road. Continue approximately 4.6 miles. 7. Continue onto National Forest Road 121 for approximately 4.9 miles. 8. Turn right onto Forest Road 257 and continue approximately 2.4 miles to the meeting location. The tour is expected to last approximately 2 hours and will include field review of harvest units, access routes, and operational considerations associated with the sale. Appropriate field attire, including boots, long sleeves, and weather-appropriate clothing, is recommended. In the event of significant weather or access concerns, the tour may be rescheduled.
