Southeast Colorado Tree Boards

Tree Boards play a critical role in the management of our community forests. Cities and towns are responsible for trees that require management by those people knowledgeable in tree care who also have an understanding of the important roles that trees fill in our communities. Volunteering as a tree board member can be exciting and rewarding! If you would like to volunteer for a tree board in Southeastern Colorado, or would like to begin the process of establishing a tree board within your community, please contact the La Junta Field Office, Colorado State Forest Service, at (719) 383-5780.
