Project Learning Tree
Project Learning Tree (PLT) provides resources and trainings for educators in Colorado to engage youth in learning about the environment through the lens of trees and forests. The Colorado State Forest Service is proud to sponsor Colorado PLT and provides professional development, curriculum materials and networking opportunities through this award-winning program.
Project Learning Tree offers fun, easy-to-do, outdoor activities for families. These free activities connect children to trees in the forest, local parks and their own backyards.
Colorado’s Trees and Forests
Trees are all around us – in our communities where we live and the wildlands where we play. They are a wonderful way to connect kids and adults to nature. The Colorado State Forest Service offers information to help educators teach people about Colorado’s trees and forests.
