The Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) seedling tree program enables farmers, ranchers and other landowners to buy seedling trees at a nominal cost.

Trees for Conservation Program Update

The Woodland Park, Cañon City and La Veta programs have been combined. This merge brings Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Las Animas, Park and Teller counties under one program.

Merging our programs will not change distribution locations.

We will still have a distribution location at our Cañon City Field Office, La Veta Field Office, Trinidad, Westcliffe and Woodland Park Field Office.

Distribution dates are tentatively set for the last weekend in April. Customers will be informed of distribution dates and locations once they have been set via email.

It is important to indicate on your order form your preferred pick-up location.

*MARCH 30, 2020 IS THE DEADLINE TO ORDER*

Please place your order sooner rather than later if you desire a specific species or container size. As we move forward into the spring, favorable species tend to sell out.
